WCBOE implements 'Child Find' (The South Alabamian) - 13 Aug 2008
The Washington County Board of Education serves all children with disabilities as required by law. The agency has developed and is implementing "Child Find" procedures that ensure that all children within its jurisdiction, 3 to 21, regardless of the severity of their disability, and who need special education and related services, are identified, located and evaluated.
